List of Museums with Microcars

<< < (2/2)

Jim Janecek:
The Pioneer Auto Show (not a museum for some reason...) in Murdo SD has a number of microcars that have been there for awhile.  I have passed through there twice over the last decade.  It is in the middle of nowhere, the WALL DRUG exit.
Several have been outside under a lean-to shed for many years, like sad animals in some run-down Eastern European Circus.   *shudder*

1951 Crosley Pickup
1958 BMW Isetta (has had a flat tire for at least a decade..)
1959 King Midget
1960 Lloyd Van
1961 King Midget
1962 Messerschmitt KR200
1980-ish HMV Free-way
1970-ish Subaru 360 Van
1981 Trabant
plus some others I can't recall at the moment.

thebear54:
There is the unique DAF MUSEUM & RESEARCH CENTER in Mount Tabor, Vermont. The largest collection of DAF MicroCars outside of Europe with 18 cars and over 4,000 pieces of Memorabilia.

Museum is open Spring-Fall by appointment during the week but open every weekend.
