1958 LLoyd Alexander question
« on: July 21, 2016, 07:19:14 PM »
Looking at buying a 1958 LLoyd Alexander and wanted to know how hard they are to find parts for. Its in good shape, no rust, and been garaged since 1964. Hasn't run for eight years. Not sure of ease of getting parts/info, and value once running if anyone could share.
Thanks

Did you buy the Alexander?  If not, I'm looking for one and would appreciate contact info. if you passed on it.

I had one many years ago. Today, looking around for Lloyds and Lloyd parts the seem pretty scarce. I think the secret would be to keep an eye out for parts cars and get your own stock. I didn't have mine long enough to learn what was critical. I can't imagine too many things that would be a big problem, though, if you're handy.

Parts are available here in the US and in Germany depending on what you want. The club will sell to non members, so no worries.
Get the car and have fun  8)
