Isetta Reseda Green
« on: June 22, 2014, 10:24:49 AM »
Hello
I have been searching for a ppg/dupont code or formula for 56 BMW Isetta Reseda Green. So far I have had no luck.
Maybe someone on here can help.   I had my paint shop mix up a sample of the color using the Isettatechs website color
info and this is what they came up with (the lime green color below).
I have emailed a few other sources on the web with no luck.
The only color I know of that I have sprayed before that is kind of close is
is 1951-52 VW Pastel Green.  Although this color is pretty close it doesn't look spot on to me.
The Reseda Green seems to have a little more green in it.
Thanks to anyone that can help.

Thanks to Doc in Germany I was able to get a original paint sample of Reseda Green for my 56 Isetta.
Docs site is completely dedicated to hard to find original paint samples from all over the world.
He has almost all the original Isetta paint samples as well as other microcars, scooters and motorcycles
He is also always looking for anyone that can help him expand his original paint sample collection.

Hi Eric.
I will post the PPG formula to my blog.  www.isettabubblewindow.com
Once I have my paint shop match the paint.
