"unrestored original condition" but you redid the interior, rebuilt the engine, new windscreen, new RADIAL tires, etc etc.
how can you state "original interior" when you describe in the listing that it was replaced?

still looks nice, but not "unrestored original condition".  The only thing not done was the hard part: bodywork and paint.

fabric, ( nothing else) was replaced with NOS fabric from same mill from the 50's, engine not rebuilt as stated in the ad. Body work and paint is not very difficult on a straight no body filler car.

So if you repainted the car with paint that came from the same place that originally supplied it to BMW, the paint would still be "original"?    ::)

The actual ad says this:
“BMW UNRESTORED ORIGINAL CONDITION”

so it is "all original" except for the parts that have been re-chromed.
and the rubber exterior pieces that have all been replaced.
and the wheels blasted and repainted.
and radial tires instead of the original 520x10 Bias Ply
and the sealant applied to the interior of the gas tank
and new shocks
and the engine shrouds repainted
and a new windscreen
and a replacement speedometer
and new exterior emblems

Its not a bad car.  But the way you have described it is highly misleading.
A car is only original once.  When you start replacing parts, rechroming things, it is no longer "original".
