Final schedule for “MICROS AT THE BEACH”
Early arrivals on Thursday September 16
6 - 8pm Cruise to Sonic and join local car club cruise night.
Friday, September 17
Leave host hotel at 8:45 am for breakfast at the Flight Deck Restaurant at Cape May Airport. Approximately 5 mile drive.
10:30 - 12:15 pm Display cars and tour the Naval Air Station Wildwood World War II Museum and the Forgotten Warriors Vietnam Museum. Approximately a 100’ drive from breakfast.
12:30-1:15 pm Visit to Maud Abrams Elementary School for students to see cars. All these students know Jim & Margies cars and are excited to see more.
1:45 to 3:30 registration at host hotel.
3:30pm Leave hotel and drive to the Cape May Winery for wine tasting before departing the winery for a short drive to a great Cape May Restaurant called Lucky Bones. We will be at the restaurant by 5:30pm. After dinner cruise back to the host hotel via the Cape May waterfront.
Saturday, September 18
Leave host hotel at 8:45 am and drive one mile to breakfast at the Captains Cove Restaurant in the fishing fleet area of Cape May. A favorite locals breakfast spot.
Drive from breakfast through Victorian Cape May to downtown Cape May and the walking mall where we will display our cars at the gazebo from 10:30 - 2:00pm. Our drive will be about 2 miles. This area has plenty do do for everyone during our time here.
2:00pm leave Gazebo area and cruise to the Cape May Lighthouse and famous sunken ship and then back to the hotel. This will be a short cruise with short visits to the lighthouse and sunken ship. This will be a short about seven mile cruise with short visits to the lighthouse and sunken ship. Return to the host hotel by 3:00pm.
Leave hotel at 5:30pm and cruise to dinner at Harpoon Henry’s located on the Delaware Bay waterfront for a sunset dinner. Then cruise back to the hotel for the parking lot “Fellowship” tradition started at Micro South.
Sunday, September 19
10:00am “Brunch and Done”.
